Yield

4 servings

Ingredients

Ingredients

1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
1/3 cup rice vinegar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup minced scallions
2 tbsp. toasted sesame oil
1 tbsp. minced garlic
1 tsp. red pepper flakes
4 fresh tuna steaks 1 1/4-inch thick (6 - 8 oz.each )

Instructions

Preheat grill to medium-high
Combine the soysauce, vinegar, brown sugar, scallions, sesame oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes in a bowl. Transfer half the mixture to a zip top plastic bag; Save the rest to serve as dipping sauce with tuna.
Add tuna steaks to plastic bag and marinate for 10 - 15 minutes. Remove steaks from bag and save marinate to baste steaks while on the grill.
Grill steaks, covered for two minutes then rotate each steak to get crosshatch grill marks.Brush the steaks with the marinate and grill for 1 -2 more minutes.
Flip steaks over and brush with more marinate and grill for 1-2 more minutes then rotate for grill marks and grill for 1-2 more minutes. ( Do not overcook) the tuna may dry out. I cook it so it is still a little red in the center or medium rare.

Better yet I should get my

money advances for me to enroll myself in a cooking class. I love baking and cooking but my problem is that I don't know how to do it. I want to prepare my family a food that is deliciously but as well as healthy.
