Smoker Shrimp



4 servings



1 lb. shrimp, cleaned and deveined
2 tbsp. garlic, minced
1 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. fresh parsley, chopped
1 tsp. dried thyme
1 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. olive oil
Salt and pepper, to taste


1. Prepare the smoker and let it get to a high heat.

2. Mix all of the ingredients in a bowl. Add the shrimp and let stand for 10-15 minutes.

3. Place the shrimp onto soaked wooden skewers.

4. Put the shrimp skewers on a rack in the now hot smoker. Let the shrimp smoke for 15 minutes.

Author's Comments

I have made this alot and it is best served warm on a bed of warm rice! It also makes a great appetizer as well.
