Pull back the husk on the ears of corn and remove the silk. Wind one strip of bacon around each ear of corn and salt and pepper to taste. Tie close with husk or wet string. Place in smoker or on grill for 15 minutes made sure to turn so it won't burn if cooking on a grill. Pull back husk and dicard bacon.
You won't need to butter this corn -- the bacon does all the work for you.
