1 lb. | spinach | 2 cups | fresh raspberries |
Dressing
1/4 cup | sugar | 5-1/2 tbsp. | poppy seeds | 1/4 tsp. | paprika | 1/2 cup | vegetable oil or | | canola oil | 1/4 cup | raspberry vinegar | 2 tsp. | finely chopped onion | 1/4 tsp. | Worcestershire sauce |
Topping
1/2 cup | slivered almonds | 1/4 cup | granulated sugar | 2 tsp. | water |

Instructions
Combine topping ingredients in frying pan over medium heat until sugar melts to golden brown and coats almonds. Turn out on a square of greased foil. Combine all other dressing ingedients in container and shake well. Wash and dry spinach, place in bowl with spinach and berries. Add dressing and almonds and toss. (Diced chicken can be added too, as can shrimp.)
