Blackberry BBQ Sauce

1/2 cup blackberry preserves (homemade or
store bought)
1 cup ketchup
1/4 tsp. ground cayenne pepper
1 tsp. mustard
1/4 cup cider vinegar


Blend all of the ingredients in a saucepan on a medium heat. Bring to a boil then turn down to simmer for 10-15 minutes. Let cool covered in fridge for 1 hour before using.

Try this on grilled chicken, game hens or I have put it on ham steaks.
