Beef and Corn Casserole




2 tbsp. oil
1 green bell pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 lb. ground beef
1 can cream-style corn
Salt, to taste
2 firm, ripe tomatoes, chopped
1 cup buttered breadcrumbs


Heat oil in skillet. Add pepper, onion and cook until soft. Add ground beef and cook until browned. Stir in corn and salt. Mix well. Put in a baking dish, cover with tomatoes and sprinkle with buttered crumbs. Bake about 25 minutes at 350°F or until crumbs are browned.
