1-1/3 lb. | ground beef. | 1 piece | ginger | 2 to 4 cloves | garlic | 1/2 | onion | 1/2 to 1 tsp. | cumin powder | 1 to 2 tsp. | coriander powder | 1 to 2 tsp. | paprika powder | 1 | green chili pepper, diced (optional) | 1/4 tsp. | cayenne pepper (optional) | 2/3 tsp. | salt (to taste) | 1/4 tsp. | ground black pepper | 2 tbsp. | vinegar | 1/4 cup | vegetable oil | 1 cup | sour cream |

Instructions
Blend together uncooked ground beef, sour cream, garlic, onion, ginger and spices with half the oil. Marinate for 30 minutes to overnight.
Roll the ground beef into a 5-inch thick log on a slightly-flour covered surface. Pre-heat oven to 375°F. Grease a non-stick baking pan.
Put the rolled beef on this pan and and bake for 25 minutes. Increase temperature to 475°F and let bake for 5 minutes. Then set oven to broil and allow it to bake for another 1 to 1-1/2 minutes. Remove from oven. Serve with minced cucumber, onion and/or tomatoes or ketchup.

May also use cloves, cinnamon and cardomom to spice your Shish Kebob.
