Ingredients
| 1 cup | wild rice, uncooked | | 3 cups | boiling water | | 3 to 4 slices | bacon | | 1/2 cup | onion, chopped | | 1/2 cup | celery, chopped | | 1/2 cup | carrots, chopped | | 1 can | chicken broth | | 2 cans | cream of mushroom soup | | 2 | soup can milk | | 1 can (4 oz.) | mushrooms, plus their liquid | | 1 tsp. | seasoned salt | | Pepper, to taste |

Instructions
Combine rice and boiling water. Simmer, covered, about 50-60 minutes. Drain and set aside. (You can do this ahead of time). Fry bacon in large soup pot. When crisp, remove. In drippings, saute the onion, celery, and carrot for a few minutes. Combine all ingredients plus crumbled bacon in pot and simmer, covered, one hour.
