1 | ripe guava, peeled and chopped | 15 oz. | tomato sauce | 6 oz. | tomato paste | 1/2 cup | water | 1/4 cup | brown sugar twin | 2 tbsp. | liquid smoke | 2 tbsp. | fresh lemon juice | 1 tbsp. | pickapeppa sauce (may substitute Worcestershire sauce) | 1 tbsp. | habanero pepper sauce (this is hot- so amount to taste) | 1 tbsp. | garlic powder | 1 tbsp. | onion powder | 1 tsp. | tamarind paste (may substitute molasses) | 1 tsp. | salt | 1/2 tsp. | black pepper |

Instructions
Whisk ingredients together in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Lower heat, cover, and simmer for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Puree cooled sauce in a food processor for a smoother texture, if desired. Refrigerate or freeze any unused portions.
Author's Comments
This sauce is only lightly sweet, to keep the carbs down. Taste it,
and if you need it sweeter, add more brown sugar or brown sugar twin.
Goes great on anything you would use your regular bbq sauce on. Baste
meat with sauce towards end of grilling.
