Tomato Shrimp Scampi for Two

Ingredients
4 oz. | fettuccine (or your favorite pasta) | 2 tbsp. | extra virgin olive oil | 2 cloves | garlic, minced | 2 cups | chopped plum tomatoes | 1/2 cup | cooking sherry | 1/4 cup | lemon juice | 1/2 tsp. | sugar | 1/2 lb. | cooked shrimp | | Tabasco sauce, to taste | | Fresh chopped basil | 2 | scallions, chopped | | Grated fresh parmesan cheese |

Instructions
Cook pasta according to directions on box. Sautee garlic in olive oil in large skillet over medium heat for 2 minutes. Add tomatoes; cook 5 minutes. Add cooking sherry, lemon juice, sugar; simmer 6 minutes. Add shrimp and Tabasco. Cook until shrimp is hot, about 2 minutes. Stir in basil and scallions. Toss with pasta and top with parmesan cheese.
