3/4 cup | dark brown sugar | 1/4 cup | molasses | 1/8 cup | honey | 1/8 cup | maple syrup | 1/4 cup | soy sauce, low sodium | 1 cup | ketchup (either Heinz or | | homemade) | 1/4 cup | apple cider vinegar | 1 tbsp. | Tabasco sauce, chipotles | 1-1/2 tbsp. | liquid smoke | 1 tsp. | onion powder | 1 tsp. | garlic powder | 1/2 tsp. | chili powder | 1-1/4 tsp. | smoked paprika (may use regular paprika is smoked cannot be found) | 1/2 tsp. | dried mustard | 1 tbsp. | cornstarch | 1 tbsp. | water |

Instructions
In a medium saucepan, over medium-low heat, mix together brown sugar, molasses, honey and maple syrup. Cook until bubbly and very sticky. Stir in soy sauce, ketchup, vinegar and liquid smoke. This will cause the sauce to bubble up (be careful!). Stir in dried spices, and bring to a rapid simmer. Combine cornstarch and water into a slurry, and quickly stir into sauce. Reduce heat and simmer for 2-3 hours.

An absolutely delicious homemade barbecue sauce recipe. This is my own creation, and I hope you enjoy it. The yield is approximate.
This can be stored in the fridge seemingly indefinitely. I've never had it spoil, even after 4 weeks in the fridge. It also freezes and thaws well.
