1/2 lg. head cabbage, shredded
2 lg. carrots, shredded
1/2 cup finely chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion

Dressing

1/4 cup sugar
3 tbsp. vinegar
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 tsp. celery seed
1/2 tsp. salt

Instructions

In a large bowl, combine cabbage, carrots, green pepper and onion. In ajar with tight-fitting lid, combine dressing ingredients; shake well. Pour over cabbage mixture and toss. Cover and chill 4 hours before serving.

When sharing a recipe one should avoid using the terms: small, medium or large. These are relative terms which are subject to the reader's interpretation.
This recipe calls for 1/2 large head of cabbage and 2 large carrots. Large to me may not be large to someone else. I think it would be better to give amounts in cups.
