1/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup butter
1 egg yolk
1 cup flour
1 egg white
Finely chopped nuts
Jam or
jelly

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar. Add flour and egg yolk mix thoroughly. Roll into small balls and dip into unbeaten egg whites. Roll into chopped nuts. Press the center with tip of your finger. Bake at 350°F for about 15 minutes. When cool, fill centers with jam or jelly.
