1/2 cup Butter; softened
1 cup Sugar
1 Eggs
1-1/2 tsp. Extract, vanilla
1/2 tsp. Extract, almond
2 cups Flour
1/2 tsp. Baking powder
1/4 tsp. Salt

Instructions

Cream butter and sugar until light anf fluffy. Beat in egg and extracts. Sift together dry ingredients and gradually add to creamed mixture, blending well. Wrap dough in plastic wrap and chill at least 1 hour. Preheat oven to 400 F. On lightly floured surface, use floured rolling pin to roll out dough to 1/8" thickness. Cut out dough using desired cookie cutters. Place cookies on lightly greased baking sheets. Bake 8-10 minutes, until edges are lightly browned. Remove from sheets and cool on wire racks.
