1-1/2 lb. | lean ground beef | 3/4 cup | chopped onion | 3/4 cup | chopped celery | 3/4 cup | chopped green pepper | 1 can | (lg.) baked beans (molasses style) | 1 can | (sm.) baked beans (molasses style) | 1/2 tsp. | thyme | 1 | bay leaf | 2 cloves | garlic, minced | 1 tsp. | dry mustard | 1/2 cup | water | 1/2 cup | brown sugar | 1/2 cup | ketchup | 1 tsp. | Worcestershire sauce, or | | to taste | | Salt and pepper to taste |

Instructions
Brown first 4 ingredients together. Drain any fat if needed. Mix in remaining ingredients and cook on the stove top for 5 minutes to heat through. Transfer to a cassarole dish and bake at 350°F for about two hours, stirring every 20 minutes or so. Add a little water if it looks like its drying out. When done you want it to run a little, not just glop on the plate.
