This is my "home" cake - it's so easy and quick to make, and comes out great every time. I got the recipe from my mother, actually, with a few slight variances. My recommended variance for filling is to grate 50 grams of choclate with a fine grater, add half of this to the cake mixture and the other half in the middle of the cake (instead of the cinnamon). Also, once the cake cools, sprinkle the top with sugar powder for a finishing touch.

Instructions
Grease 10x4-inch tube pan or 2 9x5x3-inch loaf pans. Combine butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in a large mixer bowl. Beat on medium 2 minutes. Mix in flour, baking powder, soda and salt alternately with sour cream.
Spread layers of batter into pan, alternating with a layer of filling, ending with filling. Bake about 1 hour at 350°F. Cool on a wire rack.
