12 lg. beautiful tomatoes, thinly sliced
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 can prepared minced bacon
1 tbsp. minced fresh basil or
parsley
Salt and freshly ground pepper, to taste

Instructions

Arrange tomato slices in a large, shallow bowl. Cover and chill.

Whisk together the remaining ingredients and pour over tomatoes just before serving.

For extra pizazz don't add salt to the dressing. Instead set out a small bowl of sea salt and direct your guests to sprinkle just a little on each serving.
