Simply the Best Hamburgers

1 lb. lean hamburger
1 lg. egg
1 sm. onion, chopped
1/2 green pepper, chopped
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. Kitchen Bouquet (browning sauce)
1/2 to 3/4 cup bread crumbs
Salt and pepper, to taste


Mix all ingredients in large mixing bowl. Make 6 hamburger balls. Flatten into hamburger patties. Grill or pan fry on medium heat. Turn once after 5 minutes; grill for another 5 minutes. Serve at once on buns of your choice. Serve with condiments of your choice.

Author's Comments

I personally prefer grilled mushrooms and well cooked bacon with ketchup & mustard on my burger. What a treat. Don't forget the fries & baked beans.
