Melt butter in sauce pan. Add oil. When hot, add garlic until cooked, NOT BROWN!!! Add parsley; lower heat to keep warm.
Place shrimp in broiler pan, cover with butter sauce, broil until just pink. Do not overcook. Stir shrimp and return to broiler to bring all sides to an orange, pink color. Watch constantly as this happens very quickly, being careful not to overcook. Remove broiler pan from oven.
Sprinkle 1/2 of breadcrumbs, stir. Sprinkle with remaining breadcrumbs, stir in. Return to broiler for about 2 minutes to give breadcrumbs a little color and allow butter to bubble again.
Serve over rice, Basmati or Jasmine is best, IMHO.
