Ingredients
3 lbs. | shelled, deveined shrimp | 1/2 cup | chopped bell pepper | 1/2 cup | chopped white onion | 1/2 cup | butter | 1-2/3 tbsp. | chili powder | 2 tbsp. | flour | 2 tsp. | salt | 1 tsp. | cayenne pepper | 3 cloves | garlic, minced | 2 tsp. | black pepper | 4 cans (12 oz. each) | whole stewed tomatoes | 1 can (12 oz.) | tomato sauce | | Cooked white rice |

Instructions
In a large pot, cook onion, bell pepper and garlic in butter until soft. Blend in flour and all seasonings. Add tomatoes to this after crushing them with your hands. Add the tomato sauce and 1 can of water. Cook until boiling stirring constantly. Add shrimp and cook for 20 minutes stirring the entire time. Spoon over rice.

Delicious served over rice with garlic bread. This sauce freezes well for a quick meal later on.
