I fried each type of meat separately and I substituted whatever beans I had. Pinto, vegetarian baked beans, pork & beans to equal the cans of beans given in the recipe. The results were excellent! I shared some of the beans w/friends and she wanted the recipe, too.
Instructions
Mix all ingredients, bake at 350°F for 2 hours. Let stand 1 hour and rebake for 1/2 hour. Serve.
Or, precook meats, mix all ingredients in crock pot and cook on low 3-1/2 hours. Serve.

This is a family recipe. Once someone tries it, they always want more. It is almost a meal in itself!
