This is an excellent jame -- the lime juice adds a tartness and enhances the blackberry taste. The consistency is good too. Our limes (we have a tree at home) are larger and more juicy than those at the store,but still used the 3 recommended ones and it worked fine (I used a generous 6 cups of berries).
This will be part of our Christmas baskets we send family & friends this year!

Instructions
Seed the limes, scoop out the section. Squeeze lime shells and reserve any juice. Combine lime sections, juice and water and cook for 20 minutes on low heat. Increase heat to medium, add berries and sugar and continue cooking 20-30 minutes, or until thickened. Pour into 1/2 pint jars leaving 1/4-inch headspace, seal, process in BWB (boiling water bath) 5 minutes.
