Prosciutto and Smoked Mozzarella Pizza

1 recipe pizza dough
2-1/2 tbsp. olive oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 lb. prosciutto, torn into shreds
1/3 lb. smoked mozzarella, sliced
1 tbsp. chopped fresh flat leaf parsley


Prepare pizza dough and spread out on pizza tray. Cover dough with olive oil. Scatter garlic around the pizza. Place prosciutto and mozzarella on pizza. Brush olive oil over outer crust. Baked in preheated 425°F oven for 12 to 15 minutes, until the mozzarella is lightly browned. Garnish with parsley before serving.

When I saw that ball of smoked Mozzarella in the Italian market, I knew exactly what I had to do with it. A simple recipe with few ingredients is the Italian way of cooking, and it really shines in this pizza.
