pork sausage
1 can (10-3/4 oz.)
mushroom soup
3/4 cup
milk
1/2 tsp.
salt
1/4 tsp.
pepper
1/2 cup
sliced onions
3 cups
potatoes, sliced
1/2 lb.
mozzarella cheese, grated
Instructions
Brown and drain sausage. Mix soup, milk, onion, salt and pepper. In large casserole pan layer potatoes, soup mixture and sausage. Repeat layers again, ending with sausage. Dot with butter. Bake covered pan at 350°F for 1-1/4 to 1-1/2 hours. Sprinkle with grated cheese and melt in oven.

Thank you for this recipe. It is quick and simple. I made this for my family last night and they just love it. My casserole dish was empty in no time. I cannot think of anything else to enhance it - it is perfect just the way it is.
My husband's family make german sausage and I have ran out of ways to make it. I tried this recipe and me and my husband LOVED it. I am going to make it for his family for Thanksgiving.
I would eliminate the salt and maybe the pepper too. I threw it away because it tasted like pure salt. Maybe my sausage was saltier than normal. I will try this again minus salt & pepper.
