Petite Cherry Cheese Cup Cakes

1 lb. cream cheese, softened
3/4 cup sugar
2 eggs
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. vanilla
24 vanilla wafers
1 can (1-1/3 lb.) can cherry pie filling

Instructions

Beat first 5 ingredients until light and fluffy. Line small muffin tins with paper baking cups and place a vanilla wafer in the bottom of each. Fill cups 2/3 full with cream cheese mixture. Bake at 375 F. for 15 to 20 minutes until set. Top each with 1 Tablespoon cherry pie filling. Chill. Yield: 24 cakes.
