3 to 3-1/2 cups | pecan halves | 4 | lg. eggs | 1 cup | brown sugar | 6 tbsp. | butter, melted | 1 cup | dark corn syrup | 3 tsp. | vanilla extract | 1 | premade pastry crust |

Instructions
Heat oven to 350°F. Chop up 2 cups of the pecan halves; set aside. Beat the eggs, corn syrup, butter, brown sugar, and vanilla in a mixing bowl until well blended (about 2 minutes). Add the chopped pecans and stir. Pour filling into the pastry shell. Add remaining pecan halves to top of pie filling and put into a concentric design. Bake for 70 minutes at 350°F.
Cool. Serve with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
