8 pear halves. water-packed
1 cup uncreamed cottage cheese
3 tbsp. pure carob, grated
1 tbsp. frozen apple juice, thawed
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 tbsp. skim milk

Instructions

Put a pear half in each of 8 dessert dishes. Mix together the cheese, skim milk, apple juice and vanilla; blend until smooth. Spoon this mixture on each of the pear halves. Sprinkle with grated carob and serve.
