Beat together the peanut butter, butter, and the sugars until creamy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, then vanilla. In a separate bowl, stir together flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually stir this into peanutbutter mixture until well mixed. Stir in half of chocolate chips. Spread batter evenly in greased 13x9x2 inch pan. Sprinkle remaining chocolate chips on top. Bake in 350°F oven for 3 minutes. Remove from oven and lightly run a knife back & forth in batter a few times so chocolate forms a marble pattern. Quickly return pan to oven and bake about 30 minutes longer, or until firm in the center and edges begin to pull away from the sides of the pan. Cool in pan on wire rack.
Excellent! I added 1/2 cup peanut butter chips to the top of the brownies with 1/2 cup chocolate chips. The swirl effect was beautiful, and the taste was magnificent. It received great reviews from all my taste-testers too! :)
