Ingredients
2-1/2 cup | oatmeal | 1 cup | butter | 1 cup | brown sugar, packed | 1 cup | granulated sugar | 2 | eggs | 1 tsp. | vanilla | 2 cups | all-purpose flour | 1/2 tsp. | salt | 1 tsp. | baking powder | 1 tsp. | baking soda | 1 pkg. (12 oz.) | chocolate chips | 1 (4 oz.) | Hershey Bar, grated | 1-1/2 cup | walnuts or | | pecans, chopped |

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Process the oatmeal into a fine powder using a blender or food processor. Set aside. Cream the butter with both sugars. Beat in the eggs one at a time. Beat in the vanilla. Beat in the flour, salt, baking powder, baking soda and oatmeal. Stir in the chocolate chips, grated Hershey bar and nuts. Roll into balls. Place 2-inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes.
