1 can (1-3/8 lb.) | cherry pie filling | 1 can (15 oz.) | pineapple chunks, drained | 1 box (1-1/8 lb.) | dry cake mix, white or | | lemon | 1 can (3-1/2 oz.) | shredded coconut | 1 to 2 cup | chopped nuts (Macadamians are the best) | 1 cup | melted butter |

Instructions
Lightly grease a 9x13-inch glass Pyrex dish or SS pan. Spread ingredients in layers in order listed. Pat down lightly, DO NOT MIX. Bake in a 325°F oven for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot or cold with or without wiped cream or ice cream.

I know it comes from a box/can but it keeps good on the shelf for a long period of time. Also can be made within 2 hours of dinner. And it's good... a bachelor's special!
