Mum's Best Pakoras

Traditional asian pakoras - made with either onions or sliced potatoes

3 cups of g. flour (basin)
1/4 tsp. bicarb powder
1 tsp. of ginger, garlic and chilli paste (mix)
1 tsp. of salt
1 tsp. of red chilli powder
2 tsp. of cumin seeds
2 onoins or
2 potatoes
tbsp of oil

Instructions

Put the gram flour, bicarb poweder and all the spices into a large mixing bowl and mix.
Add water- just enough to make a smooth paste.
Finally add either sliced onions OR potatoes and mix.
Gently spoon a small amount and shallow fry till golden and crispy.

Best served warm with a light salasa dip:)
