| 1-1/3 cup | brown sugar, packed | | 3/4 cup | margarine or | | butter, softened | | 1 tsp. | vanilla | | 2 | eggs | | 2-1/4 cup | all-purpose flour | | 1 cup | M&M's® plain chocolate candy | | 1/2 cup | nuts, chopped (optional) | | 1 tsp. | baking soda | | 1/2 tsp. | salt |

Instructions
Heat oven to 375°F. Mix brown sugar, margarine, vanilla and eggs in large bowl until well blended. Stir in remaining ingredients. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 3-inches apart onto lightly greased cookie sheet. Press 3-4 additional candies into each cookie if desired. Bake until light brown for 6-8 minutes. Cool slightly; remove to wire rack.
