10 slices cheap white bread
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 cup sugar
4 eggs
1 stick butter, melted

Instructions

Beat eggs, sugar and (cooled) melted butter in large bowl. Cut bread slices into 1-inch cubes. Mix bread cubes and drained pineapple into egg mixture, then pour into greased 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 1 hour, or until it starts to brown.

Excellent side dish, especially with ham.
