1-1/2 cup | mixed vegetables (French beans, carrots, green peas, potatoes), boiled | 1 | onion, chopped | 1 tsp. | cumin seeds | 2 tsp. | amchur powder | 1 | tomato, chopped | 1/2 tsp. | turmeric powder | 3/4 tsp. | chili powder | 3 tbsp. | ghee | | Salt, to taste |

Instructions
Cook the dal separately with 2 teacups of water. Heat 1-1/2 tbsp. ghee, add the onion and cumin seeds and fry for at least 2 minutes. Add the cooked dal, boiled vegetables, amchur powder, tomato, turmeric powder, paste and salt, and boil for a few minutes. Just before serving, heat the remaining ghee and the chili powder and pour immediately over the dal mixture. Serve hot.
