Instructions
Crust:
In a large bowl stir together 1 cup flour, baking powder, 1-1/2 tsp. sugar and 1/4 tsp. salt. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Make a well in the center: add milk all at once. Stir just until dough clings together.
On a lightly floured surface, roll dough into an 11-inch circle. Fit into bottom and up sides of an ungreased 9x1-1/2-inch round baking pan. Trim crust even with top edge of pan. Bake the crust at 350°F oven for 5 minutes. Set aside.
Filling:
In a large bowl beat eggs. Stir in cottage cheese, 1/3 cup sugar, half-and-half, 1 tbsp. flour, vanilla, cinnamon and 1/8 tsp. salt until combined. Pour filling into crust. Bake in a 350°F for 30 minutes or until center is nearly set.
Cool the dessert on a wire rack for 1 hour. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours.
