Lori's Easy Scalloped Potatoes

A Very creamy and delicious dish!

3 to 4 servings



1 hour and 20 minutes
6 md. potatoes
1 can mushroom soup
1 yellow onion ( thinly sliced)
1/2 cp. Margarine or
butter (cold cut into sm. bits)
1/4 cp. Milk
1 glass pie baking plate
Salt and pepper
3 cps. Shredded cheese
1/4 cp. Bread crumbs


Thinly slice potatoes,put aside, then butter glass pie plate.
Lay down first row of potatoes,dollop butter and onions,lightly,
then 4tblspns. mushroom soup, you can spread it evenly too, sprinkle cheese!(Save some cheese for the top), Sprinkle every layer with salt and pepper. Then repeat till all ingredients are used.Add milk. Put potatoe dish in oven, bake for 1 hour and 5 minutes or till potatoes are done, then sprinkle the rest of the shredded cheese,and top it off with the bread crumbs, the cheese should brown in ten minutes or more.

Author's Comments

Do not use too much onion because then it will be overpowering,you can add garlic to if you want a clove or two minced.
