Ingredients
2 lbs. | stewing steak or | | mutton, cut into 2-inch cubes | 2 | lg. onions, finely sliced | 1 | red pepper, chopped | 2 | green peppers, chopped | 2 | chilies, chopped * | 1 | lg. potato, peeled and grated | 1 can | tomatoes | 2 tbsp. | Hungarian paprika | | Salt | | Lard or | | cooking oil |

Instructions
Heat oil in saucepan and fry onions till soft. Add meat, peppers, chillies, salt and paprika. Fry until meat has browned. Grate the potato into frying mixture(this will make a nice, thick sauce). Add tomatoes and enough water to stew meat. Cover pan and simmer until meat is tender, adding water if it starts to go dry. Serve on a bed of rice or gnocchi (galuska) and put a spoonful of soured cream or yoghurt on top. Enjoy!!!!
