1-1/4 gal. tomato juice
1 cup vinegar
2 cups sugar
1 tbsp. allspice
2 tbsp. corn starch
1 pint onions, cooked and run through sieve
1 tbsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. mustard seed

Instructions

Tie spices in cloth to cook with other ingredietns. Stir while cooking. Cook until it begins to thicken then moisten corn starch with water and add. Bring to a good boil again and then seal in bottles or small jars.
