Grandma's Pineapple Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup | shortening | 1-1/2 cup | sugar | 1 | egg | 1 can (9 oz.) | crushed pineapple, drained | 3-1/2 cup | flour | 1 tsp. | soda | 1/2 tsp. | salt | 1/4 tsp. | nutmeg |
Icing
2 | confectioners sugar | 2 tbsp. | softened margarine | | Pineapple juice (add to desired thickness) | | -or- | 2 cups | confectioners sugar | 1 tbsp. | softened margarine | | Milk | | Vanilla |

For the icing, it was printed 2 confections sugar. Is that 2 cups?

Instructions
Mix shortening, sugar and egg together. Stir in drained crushed pineapple. Add rest of ingredients. Chill mixture at least one hour. Bake 8-10 minutes at 400°F.
Icing:
Mix ingredients together and spread over top cookies after slightly cooled.
