Ingredients
Cake
1 cup | butter | 1 cup | Dr. Pepper | 3 tbsp. | cocoa | 1/2 cup | buttermilk | 1 tsp. | baking soda | 1 tsp. | vanilla extract | 2 | eggs | 2 cups | flour | 2 cups | sugar |
Frosting
1 cup | butter | 3 tbsp. | cocoa | 6 tbsp. | Dr. Pepper | 2-1/2 cup | powdered sugar |

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease and flour a bundt pan.
In a saucepan, add butter, Dr. Pepper and cocoa until boiling. Remove from heat and cool.
In a small mixing bowl, combine buttermilk, baking soda and vanilla. In another mixing bowl, combine eggs, flour and sugar mixing well. Add all three mixtures and blend well. Pour into your prepared bundt pan and bake for 1 hour.
Remove from oven and cool on a wire rack. When the cake is cooled, place it on your serving tray and pierce the cake with an icepick and make numerous holes in it.
Prepare the frosting by combining the butter, cocoa and Dr. Pepper and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat and whisk in the powdered sugar. Let it cool a little then pour over the cake and serve.
