French Cherry Pie

Crust

2 cups flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup walnuts
1 cup oleo

Cream

1 cup powdered sugar
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix

2 pkg. Dream Whip, according to directions.

Instructions

Mix crust ingredients together like a pie crust, and pat in 9 X 12-13" oblong cake pan. Bake 15 minutes at 400°F. Let cool slightly, but while still warm, use a fork and crumble into pieces and press back into pan.

Mix Cream ingredients together. Add Dream Whip to creamed cheese mixture. Cover crust with 2/3 of this mixture. Top with 2 large cans (or 2 qts. thickened) Cherry pie filling. (Or use you favorite fruit pie filling). Cover with remaining 1/3 of the creamed mixture. Cover and Chill 12 hours.
