1/2 tbsp. yeast
2-1/2 cup bread flour
1 cup oats
1/4 cup powdered milk
1/2 tbsp. salt
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. oil
1 eggs
1 cup warm water
1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese

Instructions

Bring all ingredients to room temperature and pour into bread machine in order. Set Baking Control to 11 o'clock. Select White Bread and push Start. In hot, humid weather, or extremely cold weather, use 1/8 cup less water.

Author's Comments

A hearty, easy-to-slice bread, surprisingly good for sandwiches. I even used powdered buttermilk when I ran out of powdered milk with good results.
