3 squares (1 oz. each) | unsweetened chocolate | 6 tbsp. | butter (unsalted) | 1-1/2 cup | sugar (use a little less if desired) | 3/4 cup | unsifted flour | 3 | eggs | 1 tsp. | vanilla | 1/4 tsp. | salt | 1/2 to 3/4 cup | semi-sweet chocolate bits | 3/4 cup | chopped macadamia nuts |

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F. In a small saucepan melt chocolate and butter; transfer to a large mixing bowl and cool. To chocolate add sugar, flour, eggs, vanilla and salt; mix well. Stir in chocolate bits and 1/2 cup macadamia nuts.
Pour batter into a greased 8-inch square baking pan. Spinkle the top with remaining nuts. Bake until a cake tester inserted comes out clean, about 40 minutes. Cool on wire rack about 20 minutes. Cut into 1-1/2-inch squares. Wrap in clear plastic wrap, if desired.
