Double Chocolate Banana Muffins

1-1/2 cup flour
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup baking cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking powder
1-1/3 cup mashed ripe banana
1/3 cup vegetable oil
1 egg
1 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips


In a large bowl, combine the first six ingredients. In a small bowl, combine bananas, oil and egg. Stir into dry ingredients just until moistened. Fold in chocolate chips. Fill greased or paper lined muffin cups three-fourths full. Bake at 350°F for 20-25 minutes or until muffins test done.

These are SO good and chocolatey. Especially warm from the oven. I usually double the recipe because my kids love them so much. They freeze well, too--just give them about 20-30 seconds in the microwave.
