1 pkg. (1-1/8 lb.) | German chocolate cake mix | 3/4 cup | margarine, softened | 2/3 cup | evaporated milk, divided | 1 pkg. (6 oz.) | chocolate chips | 1 cup | nuts, chopped | 1 pkg. (14 oz.) | caramels |

Instructions
Mix together cake mix, margarine and 1/3 cup of the evaporated milk. Put half of mixture in greased 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350°F for 6 minutes. Sprinkle with chips and nuts. Melt caramels with other 1/3 cup milk. Drizzle caramel over mixture in pan. Crumble remaining chocolate mixture over top and bake for 20 minutes more.
