Crusty Beef Casserole



16 to 20 servings



1 onion, chopped
1-1/2 lb. lean ground round
1 jar (3 lbs.) spaghetti sauce with mushrooms
1 lb. fine noodles
10 oz. non-fat or
low-fat cheddar cheese
Seasoned salt


Brown meat and drain off any fat. Add onions and continue cooking until onions are transparent. Add sauce and heat through.

Arrange casserole:
Put a little sauce mixture on the bottom, top with half the noodles, half the sauce, half the cheese and sprinkle with seasoning salt. Arrange a second casserole dish the same way. Bake 1 hour at 325°F.
