Crock Pot Beef and Mushrooms

3 to 4 servings



1-1/2 lb. round steak, cut into chunks
1 onion, cut into slivers
8 oz. sliced white mushrooms
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp. beef bouillon granules
Salt and pepper to taste
1 cup Marsala wine
Xanthan gum (optional)


Trim beef of fat, season with salt and pepper and cut into pieces. Place beef in crock pot and cover with beef granules, garlic, onions, mushrooms, and wine. Cover and cook on low heat for 8-10 hours or until tender. Thicken cooking liquid with xanthan gum if desired. Serve sauce with mashed cauliflower if desired.
