Crispy Sunflower Seed Cookies

Ingredients
1 cup | butter | 1 cup | brown sugar (lightly packed) | 1 cup | white sugar | 2 | eggs, well beaten | 1 tbsp. | vanilla extract | 2 cups | flour | 1 tsp. | baking soda | 1/2 tsp. | baking powder | 2 cups | rolled oats | 2 cups | rice crispies cereal | 1-1/4 cup | roasted sunflower seeds |
Caramel Icing
1/2 cup | packed brown sugar | 1/4 cup | whipping cream or | | whole milk | 1/3 cup | icing sugar |

This was a good cookie recipe my family really liked it because it was chewy and crunchy at the same time.

Instructions
Cream butter and sugars till fluffy. Beat in eggs, one at a time, and vanilla. Mix flour, baking soda and baking powder in seperate bowl. Stir into creamed mixture. Blend in oats, rice cereal and sunflower seeds. Form into 1 inch balls and place 2 inches apart on greased baking sheet. Flatten with fork. Bake at 350°F for 12-15 minutes or until golden. Cool and drizzle Caramel Icing over cookies.
Caramel Icing:
In small pan mix sugar and cream. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly for one minute. Transfer to a bowl and beat in icing sugar until smooth. Drizzle over cookies.
