Chocolate Peanut Butter Chip Cookies

3 dozen



2 cups flour
3/4 cup Hershey's cocoa
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2-1/2 stick butter
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla extract
2 cups sugar
1 pkg. Reese's Peanut Butter Chips


Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large bowl mix butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs and beat well. Next add salt, baking soda and vanilla. Then add the cocoa and mix well. Add the flour last.* Last, add in Peanut Butter Chips.

Drop onto ungreased cookie sheet, about 1 tablespoon in size. Bake for 8-9 minutes.** Let cookies cool slightly before transfering them to a cooling rack.

Author's Comments

* I usually add 1 cup of flour at a time to keep the batter extra smooth.<br />
** Be careful not to overbake. It&#039;s harder to tell when chocolate cookies are done. They may not seem ready to come out but don&#039;t cook longer than 9 minutes.
