1 cup dry cocoa
2 cups espresso coffee
3 cups flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 dash salt
4 eggs
2 sticks butter or
margarine
2-1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. almond extract

Instructions

1. Mix cocoa and coffee until smooth.

2. In a separate bowl, combinedry ingredients.

3. Beat together eggs, butter, sugar and extracts.

4. Add flour and coffee mixtures to the butter mixture alternately, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.

5. Grease and flour the bottom of a 9x13-inch cake pan. Bake at 325°F for 45 minutes to one hour, until tothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.
